How to Spot a Designer in the Wild

Designers are like penguins — always dressed in black and white, but never forget to add a splash of color somewhere.

They survive on coffee and creative brainstorms — snacks are welcome, but creative energy comes from freshly brewed coffee.

Designers in distress — when a client says, “Can you do this in five minutes?” Even Superman would throw in the towel!

Designer Myths”

  1. Myth: All designers know how to use Photoshop.
Reality: Most just know where the “undo” button is.
Myth: Clients always know what they want.
Reality: “I want it to look like Instagram but with more colors and fewer images.”

A Designer’s Daily Routine

07:00 – Wake up to the sound of creative genius.
08:00 – First sip of coffee and a moment of silence before the emails flood in.
09:00 – Think about design.
10:00 – Ask, “Is this blue or green?” (We all know it’s purple.)
17:00 – “Finishing the project” while actually working on a new meme.

Creative Challenges

  1. Task: Create a logo for a product that doesn’t exist yet.
  2. Challenge: Try to explain to a client why their favorite color “turquoise” is a bad choice for a law firm’s website.
